JAKARTA, 1 July 2019 – ADA, the largest company in Asia that integrates data, insight, media & content to deliver business outcomes, has announced the appointment of Kirill Mankovski as their Managing Director in Indonesia. With operations in 9 countries across South Asia and Southeast Asia, ADA is backed by the Axiata Group and Sumitomo Corporation.
Kirill comes with over 15 years of experience in the mobile communications industry.
As a graduate with a Bachelor of Economic Sciences, Management of International Business, Kirill’s career began in multinationals like Siemens, Philips, and Samsung where he quickly ascended to become the Deputy Head of Samsung Representative Office in Belarus.
He then moved to Smart Axiata in Cambodia as the Chief Marketing Officer, where he played a key role in driving the company into a leading position in a highly competitive market.
He subsequently joined XL Axiata in Indonesia where he held several senior management positions, including Chief Sales and Head of AXIS Business Unit.
Prior to ADA, Kirill was the Chief Enterprise Officer at XL Axiata.
Among his recent achievements is the rebrand of AXIS, acquired by XL Axiata, transforming it into the fastest growing brand in the telecommunications industry in Indonesia in 2015 and 2016. He also played a key role in the transformation of the distribution model of XL Axiata in 2017.
In the past year, Kirill has been an active contributor to the development of the IoT industry in Indonesia, launching several IoT products and solutions and driving the development of the IoT community by organizing and participating in IoT hackathons and forums. He also sits on the Advisory Board of Asia IoT Business Platform. In 2018, Kirill was part of the management team of XL Axiata that received an award from Frost & Sullivan for “2018 Indonesia Mobile Service Provider of the Year”.
